Istanbul's Urban Evolution: A Satellite Perspective from 1984 to 2019

These images capture urban changes in southern Istanbul along the Bosphorus strait in the Marmara Sea from 1984 to 2019. Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey, straddles Europe and Asia and serves as a major port hub. Istanbul Atatürk Airport is visible in the southwestern section of the images.
