Flooding Along the Isar and Inn Rivers (Bavaria), August 2005

In August 2005, Bavaria was severely affected by floods due to prolonged heavy rains that caused rivers such as the Isar to overflow. The first multi-temporal image, which combines data from May 11 and August 24, 2005, covers the area from Munich to Dingolfing, with Landshut visible in the upper centre as a bright cluster. The second image provides a detailed view of Landshut, zooming in from the first image. The third image, another multi-temporal composite from July 20 and August 24, 2005, follows the Isar River from Burghausen to Salzburg. The fourth image focuses on the region along the Inn River, which borders Austria and Germany.
