Typhoon Rananim (China), August 2004

In August 2004, Typhoon Rananim struck eastern China, making landfall in Zhejiang Province. The typhoon caused widespread destruction, with strong winds and heavy rainfall leading to severe flooding, the collapse of buildings, and the displacement of millions of people.
