These images show different areas of the Amazon rainforest ecoregions. The first image, south of Manaus, highlights large areas of deforestation in light brown. The second image is a collage used to create the first merge. The third image shows deforestation in Mato Grosso, northwest of Lucas city, between 1992 and 1999, with the fourth image as the collage used for this merge. The fifth and sixth images depict deforestation along the Rio Arinos and north of Cuiabá in Mato Grosso, based on data from 2003-2005 and 2005-2006. The seventh image shows deforestation north of Porto dos Gaúchos, captured between 1999 and 2006, with the eighth image as the collage for this merge. The ninth image tracks deforestation in the Rondônia region from 1992 to 2010, with the last image showing the collage used for this merge.
