This multitemporal colour composite SAR image highlights Seoul, the capital of South Korea, located centre-left as a bright area. The city, nestled between mountain ranges, is divided by the Han River (thick blue line) flowing west to the Yellow Sea. Clearly visible are numerous bridges, which link the northern older section with southern residential and industrial areas. The orange patch in the lower left corner is an coastline characterized by high tidal ranges.
