Flood in Hungary, April 2000

In April 2000, Hungary faced significant flooding, primarily along the Tisza River, due to prolonged heavy rainfall and snowmelt. The floodwaters breached dikes and inundated vast areas, resulting in widespread damage to homes, infrastructure, and agricultural lands. The first image illustrates a portion of the Danube River in the bottom left of the picture, along with the town of Novi Sad and the Tisza, Begej, and Timis rivers, where some flooded areas are clearly visible. The second image includes annotations indicating specific locations.
