Flood in Belgium, September 1998

In September 1998, Belgium and the Netherlands experienced flooding due to continuous heavy rainfall, leading to rivers like the Meuse and the Scheldt overflowing their banks. The first two images were captured on 16 September 1998 and cover the southern part of the Netherlands and the northern part of Belgium. The last image is a multi-temporal view depicting the area over Brussels, where blue patches indicate flooded cultivated areas.
