Helheim Glacier in Greenland: A Satellite Perspective from 1985 to 2017

These images, acquired by Landsat 5 and 8, show the retreat of Helheim Glacier from 1985 to 2017. Helheim Glacier is one of Greenland's largest outlet glaciers and feeds into the waters of Helheim Fjord, a part of the Sermilik system. The glacier is named after the realm of the dead in Norse Mythology.
