Flood in Europe (Germany), April 2006

In April 2006, Germany experienced significant flooding along the Elbe River due to rapid snowmelt and heavy rainfall. The multi-temporal images, using data from July 2005 and April 2006, show the flood's extent around the Elbe River. The first image features Hitzacker in Lower Saxony, and the second captures Saxony-Anhalt, illustrating the impact in these regions.
