Title: SMOS data improves satellite-based rainfall product

Description: IMERG-Early precipitation product (in green) is corrected in near real time with ESA’s SMOS mission in Africa to produce the PrISM precipitation product (in blue). Errors (RMSE) between ground measurements and satellite estimates are systematically reduced on the five regions of Africa.
