Title: PAZ and Sentinel-1 identify persistent scatter points on airport runways

Description: In a study completed as part of ESA’s Third Party Missions programme, data from PAZ and Sentinel-1 were used to identify persistent scatter points, which are used to track deformation. PAZ provided a broader coverage of persistent scatter points due to the high concentration of points located on runways and surrounding flat areas. Sentinel-1 focused on vertical structures such as control towers.
