CHRIS
About CHRIS
PROBA-1's main instrument was the Compact High Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (CHRIS), which had applications in atmosphere, land, agriculture and oceans and coast.
It acquired 13 square km scenes at 17 m spatial resolution in 18 user-selected visible and near-infrared wavelengths.
CHRIS was funded by the UK Space Agency (at the time the British National Space Centre (BNSC)) and Sira Electro-Optics Ltd, and developed/built by Sira Technology Ltd (formerly Sira Electro-Optics Ltd).

Data Tools
A number of tools are available for visualising, processing and analysing PROBA-1 data.
Sentinel Application Platform
Sentinel Application Platform (SNAP) is a common architecture for all Sentinel Toolboxes. It is ideal for Earth Observation processing and analysis due to technological innovations.
