Aeolus Cal/Val was a joint ESA coordinated effort of independent Cal/Val teams and ESA campaigns as well as the Aeolus Data Innovation and Science Cluster (DISC) to assess and quantify uncertainties in the measurements. Potential implications of Cal/Val results for the upgrade of Aeolus algorithms and processors were discussed with the Aeolus Science and data quality Advisory Group (Aeolus SAG).
