From 22 April 2022 to 12 May 2022, the Norwegian research vessel Kronprins Haakon served as base for in-situ measurements and observations of sea ice and snow properties at Belgica Bank / North-East Greenland which is a region of highly variable ice cover characteristics and frequent occurrences of icebergs.
How CryoSat data products and quality reports boost cryosphere research
ESA’s ice mission, CryoSat, has been monitoring Earth’s ice and water for over 14 years. In that time, throughout nearly 77,000 orbits around our planet as of the time of writing, it has generated around 350 terabytes of radar altimetry data.

HydroGNSS
HydroGNSS is a microsatellite mission, which is part of the Scout framework, and consists of a GNSS-R (Global Navigation Satellite System Reflectometry) constellation that primarily addresses land. Scout missions are a new element in ESA's Earth Observation FutureEO Programme.
