IRS-P5 (Cartosat-1) data collections consist of 2.5 m resolution panchromatic data products from the satellite's acquisition modes, processed to Level-1, 2, a, and a+.
- PAN-Aft (backward) 27 km
- PAN-Fore (forward) 27 km
- Stereo (PAN-Aft and PAN-Fore) 27 km
In addition, the Euro-Maps 3D dataset offers a Digital Surface Model based on in-flight stereo data acquired by Cartosat-1.
Samples of the Cartosat-1 products are available over ESA's test site at La Crau in France, which you can use to preview what the data collections offer in order to assess their type and resolution. If you would like to compare Cartosat-1 products with other missions, download sample data from other Third Party Missions.
Each sample data ZIP file contains a .HDF file of the processed product, and specifications of the acquired scene.

CartoSat-1 data products are open to users located in ESA Member States (including Canada) and European Commission Member States. A Fast Registration with Approval must be submitted to request access to the European Cities: Cartosat-1 Euro-Maps 3D collection, and access to the CartoSat-1 archive and Euro-Maps 3D Digital Surface Model is granted upon submission of a Project Proposal subject to evaluation and acceptance by ESA and the data owner.
