What is the ESA online On-The-Fly dissemination service?

ESA's On-The-Fly processing and dissemination (L-OADS) service allows direct access to part of ESA's archives, including:

Products can be discovered online from:

  • A geographical catalogue with metadata search
  • A folder tree organised by track and frame
  • A filename based filtering

To download data, you must be logged in with an active EO Sign-In account, and authorised to access the relevant data collection.

When you request a product download, the product is downloaded immediately if the system has the product online or it is available in the cache. Otherwise, the product will be downloaded as soon as the processing is completed.

For more information about how to register an EO Sign-In account, read our guide

For more information about how to use the dissemination service, read our user manual

If you have any questions that are not answered in the guide and manual, please submit a query in ESA's User Services Portal.
