More than 1,400 scientists and users from around the world gathered in Bergen, Norway, between 28 June to 02 July 2010, for ESA's Living Planet Symposium, to present their findings on Earth's environment and climate.

A two-day session was devoted to GOCE and the first global gravity model based on GOCE was unveiled.
