The Dragon 3 2015 Symposium was part of the Dragon 3 Programme, focussed on exploitation of ESA, ESA's Third Party Missions and Chinese Earth observation data for geo-science and applications development in land, ocean and atmospheric applications.

The Symposium was organised into six thematic workshops. Each thematic workshop included:

• Oral and poster presentation of Dragon project results relevant to each theme
• Round table discussions with seed questions prepared by the Dragon PIs
• Reporting on the thematic workshops' outputs and discussions will be done in the Symposium plenary on the last day of the Symposium

Objectives

• Oral and poster presentation of Dragon project results relevant to each theme
• Provide results' summary for each workshop
• Round table discussions addressing scientific questions focussing on the preparation of combined projects in Dragon 4
• Reporting on the thematic workshops' outputs and discussions will be done in the Symposium plenary on the last day of the Symposium
