<p>If you wish to download the GOCE User Toolbox (GUT), you will be asked to provide your name, organization, email address, and fields of interest during the registration process.&nbsp; Since your identity can be ascertained from this data, then it is considered Personal Data. This notice sets out how your Personal Data will be handled, and your rights in relation to its handling.</p>

<p><b>Which Personal Data will be processed and why? </b></p>

<p>The Personal Data which will be collected and processed is your <span>name, job title, organisation,&nbsp; email address, operating systems, type of analysis and fields of interest</span>. The purpose of this data collection is to help ESA route the toolbox development towards news achievements that are better tailored to its users, and to provide update notifications of GUT at a very low frequency.</p>

<p>The GOCE User Toolbox service is managed on behalf of ESA by Airbus Defence and Space Limited (<b>Airbus UK</b>), <span>Serco S.p.a. (<b>Serco Europe</b>) and Deimos</span>.&nbsp; Under ESA&rsquo;s contract with Airbus UK<span>, Serco Europe and Deimos</span>, <span>name, job title, organisation,&nbsp; email address, operating systems, type of analysis and fields of interest</span> will be collected and processed by Airbus UK<span>, Serco Europe, Deimos</span> and Eversis Sp. Z.o. o. (<b>Eversis</b>) for the aforementioned purposes. &nbsp;The servers of Airbus UK and Eversis are located in data centres managed by Airbus UK and Eversis in the UK and Poland. <span>The servers of Serco Europe and Deimos are located in Italy.</span></p>

<p>If you choose to make a request to erase, rectify, complete or amend your details, your request will be manually processed by Serco S.p.a. (<b>Serco Europe</b>), which manages the ESA EO Helpdesk on behalf of ESA.&nbsp; Accordingly, at the point you make any request, your email address will also be collected and processed on the servers of Serco Europe.&nbsp; These servers are located in Italy.</p>

<p><span>Airbus UK, Serco Europe<span>, Deimos</span> and Eversis will not use the collected data for any purpose other than the ones previously mentioned and will not disclose your Personal Data to any other entity. </span></p>

<p><span>Airbus UK, Serco Europe<span>, Deimos</span> and Eversis do not consider your Personal Data as an asset for sale and will not sell your Personal Data to any third parties. </span></p>

<p><b>For how long will my Personal Data be kept?</b></p>

<p>If you do confirm the download of GUT, your Personal Data will be stored on the Airbus UK, Serco Europe, <span>Deimos</span> and Eversis servers until you request for the data to be deleted.</p>

<p>If you wish to delete your information you may do so at any time, by contacting <a href="https://esatellus.service-now.com/csp?id=esa_simple_request">ESA EO Help Desk</a>.</p>

<p>Once you request the deletion, all traces of your Personal Data stored for the aforementioned purposes will be erased from the servers of Airbus UK, Eversis, <span>Deimos</span> and Serco Europe.</p>

<h3>Open Source Package</h3>

<p>Please download the open source package. The GUT source package is applicable to any POSIX platform (i.e. UNIX, Linux, MacOS). To build and install the toolbox, you must have at least some basic software development tools and libraries installed on your system (see the Install Guide). <h3>Data Files</h3>

<p>Please download the a priori GUT dataset package which holds the proposed files for any scientific analysis to be conducted by GUT as L2 GOCE data, MSS, MDT, DEM, etc <b>They need to be unzipped and all the unzipped files need to be copied/pasted in the <i>apriori</i> directory (and not in any sub-directory) of GUT folder tree </b> since that directory is the default location for data files that are specified in workflows without a full path.</p>
