Minsk's Urban Evolution: A Satellite Perspective from 1985 to 2015

These images, captured by Landsat 5 and 8 satellites, showcase the urban development in and around Minsk. They highlight significant growth, particularly in the southwest and southeast areas, including the construction of new large roads. Minsk is situated on the southeastern slope of the Minsk Hills, a region of rolling hills extending from the southwest to the northeast, near Lukomskaye Lake in northwestern Belarus.
