Havana's Urban Evolution: A Satellite Perspective from 1988 to 2017
The Landsat 5 and 8 satellite images, spanning 19 years from 1988 to 2017, reveal Havana's evolution. Changes are visible in the city centre, along the north coast, and in the suburbs. Havana, the capital and chief seaport of Cuba, is located in the western part of the island.
