Constanţa's Urban Evolution: A Satellite Perspective from 1984 to 2016

These Landsat 5 and 8 satellite images, taken 32 years apart, illustrate the evolution of Constanţa's urban landscape. Highlighting significant changes along the coastline, particularly in the harbour area, and notable development in the western part of the city, these images showcase the city's transformation over the years. Constanţa, the capital of Constanţa district on the Black Sea in southeast Romania, serves as the country's primary seaport.
