The latest reprocessed Envisat AATSR Level 1B Brightness Temperature/Radiance dataset [ENV_AT_1_RBT] has now been migrated from simple FTP-S access to the new ESA (A)ATSR Online Dissemination Service.

The new service is collection based and allows data browsing and download via treeview, filename or advanced catalogue search.

Data download is available via HTTPS, including bulk download functionality, as well as via FTP-S (ftps://aatsr-ds.eo.esa.int) via common FTP clients using implicit FTP over TLS. In both cases, log in with your own ESA EO Sign In credentials is required.

Dismissal of former FTP server

The DNS name of the old FTP service (aatsr-ds.eo.esa.int), containing the same AATSR data, has been changed to “aatsr-ds-old.eo.esa.int”. This ftp service will be disabled on 15 March 2024. Users are recommended to complete any downloading activities in due time and start using the new service instead.
