Recovery of past Swarm L1B data gaps15 April 2020Swarm L1B data gaps registered in the past have been recovered by using the last L1B operational processor. A full list of recovered Swarm data gaps is now available. As anticipated on 12 February, for Swarm Alpha and Charlie only, the VFM (Vector Field Magnetometer) scaling that changes with time, i.e., s_t, needs to be slightly adjusted starting from 01 January 2018 onward. Due to an issue detected in the Swarm L1B data processing chain, the magnetic field intensity derived from the ASM instrument and stored in MAGx_LR_1B and MAGx_CA_1B products for Swarm Bravo is set to zero from 17 to 22 March 2020. This data gap will be recovered soon. The COVID-19 pandemic is evolving rapidly all around the world and impacts strongly most European Countries. Therefore, when possible, the Swarm teams located in different European countries have been asked to work from home in order to limit contamination risks. We would like to inform Swarm data users that the daily generation of EEF Level-2 product and their dissemination through the nominal folder has been restored. We would like to inform Swarm data users that precise orbits and attitude quaternions for the year 2019 for the CASSIOPE/e-POP satellite are now available on the Swarm dissemination server in the following folders:
We would like to inform Swarm data users that an improved version of TII cross-track dataset (TIICT version 0201), previously delivered for Swarm Alpha and Bravo, is now available also for Swarm Charlie. An issue was registered during the processing of the Swarm L1B Magnetic field data during 14 to 17 February 2020, which is when the ASM on-board this spacecraft was commanded in Burst mode. An improved version of the TII cross-track dataset (TIICT version 0201) is now available. Swarm L1B and L2 operational processors updated12 February 2020On 11 February an improved version for both L1B and L2 (FAC, IBI, and TEC) Operational Processors was transferred into operation. |
